During the new health order period which extends to Feb 5th at this point, the following rules apply to our outings:
No carpooling with anyone outside your household or your bubble. Even with masks.
No social gathering...at a picnic table or lunch spot, around cars pre & post hike. Groups chatting together even outside have been cause of spreading events so it’s a hike, eat apart & go home expectation.
Keep group size small...our current max ~10 number is fine. And ensure participants stay distanced ~2 meters from each other. No food sharing etc.

Trip Schedules
We offer a range of outings from easy to difficult, part-day to full-day. Trips go on most Sundays. Occasionally we offer multi-day trips.
For summer hikes you will need lunch, snacks, at least one litre of water, spare clothes, rain gear, a toque, gloves, sun glasses, bug spray, sun lotion, a hat, toilet paper and good boots.
Note, participants on BVBS trips assume responsibility for their own safety and comfort. You participate at your own risk.
Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
The Trip Schedule is published quarterly.
Due to unpredictable weather and access conditions, or other problems, it may be necessary to make last minute schedule changes. To find out about any changes to the scheduled tour, contact the Co-ordinator the day before. This lets the Coordinator know who intends to come on the tour and they can pass on any advice about equipment, vehicles, meeting time/place changes, etc.
The coordinator may not show up at the meeting place without being sure people are coming on the tour, so phone ahead.
